When Amanda reached out to me about family photos by the beach they were already moving everything to Texas. They had been living here in California for the past 2 years but life happens fast and they never got around to capturing family photos at the beach like they had been meaning to. I’m so glad Amanda found me and we got to put something on the calendar before their big moving day. Our photos of the Sherrod family tell of their time here in California, show their military family journey, their love and fun family dynamic together.

It was New Years Eve with a chill in the air at Irvine Park in Orange, California. They wore happy smiles with a tinge of tears in their eyes. He would be gone for the entire year before their wedding, that had to make it count. So they made a section of their engagement photo session with Juliet Peel Photography as an homage to their military Marine love story. With the American flag blowing in the wind and a hundred embraces and some amazing yoga moves and strength, they totally nailed their session <3 So delighted I got to capture their story in photos and their wedding day fast approaches at Strawberry Farms in Irvine.
